This book is truly a gem for many people: those new to the world of ART, those who are veterans with all of the battle wounds to prove it, family and friends of those patients, and the doctors and nurses who care for the patients (I honestly think this book should be required reading for them!) Furthermore, this book is a testament of how infertility leaves scars which never completely go away even if you are fortunate enough to graduate; I am living proof of that. Thank you, Jenna, for offering such a heartfelt and delicate look into this thing that consumes your very soul.

When I ordered by copy back in May the book had just been published. The anticipated date of shpping was the second week of May but there was a mix up with the publisher and the book didn't arrive until the following week. Most companies wouldn't have thought twice about this, but I received a lovely email apologizing for the delay and a free sample from their greeting card line. This book was well worth the wait and having finished it, I would have gladly waited two more weeks for this truly heartfelt story. Sending the sample card was completely unnecessary, but greatly appreciated. I sent it out to a friend who is also expereincing IVF and she loved it. There's no one who can write for an infertile like another infertile. I'm going to order more cards and books and send them to some other infertile friends during their cycles. Thanks Jenna!

I wrote a review on the amazon.com website, but I wanted to add something here in the hopes that it might help you with your sales. As a mother to a daughter struggling with infertility, I really have had no idea how to approach this subject with her. We've always had a good relationship, but this topic just wasn't one I ever thought we'd have to discuss. I saw you on Oprah and when I found this book I could see my own daughter in your words. I hope other parents, friends and family will also find this story and read it on behalf of their loved ones. I'm one of those people you wrote about who were well intentioned but misguided and I can see that I have made mistakes in the way I've approached this topic with my daughter. Thank you for writing such a beautiful and difficult story and for giving other woman a place to share theirs. I've read all of the "faces of infertility" and I'm amazed at the fortitude of these couples.

I just finished reading your book and wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the time and effort and thoughtfulness that went into writing and publishing it (and all that you have done for IF). The book was incredibly validating to me, and really so eloquently captured almost every single emotion I've had through my journey (although it has been different from yours). So thanks for writing it- I will forever be impressed with the courage and skill it took for you to put all of those thoughts down on paper!
